John W. Wolson, a Confiderate Civil Wae soldier of the 4^th Missouri, Company E, was honored September 25, 2009 by a memorial ceremony at his grave at the Lake Creek Cemetery in Lake Creek, Texas.

Captain Daniel Keith, of the 4^th Missouri, Company E, (named after John Wilson’s company) from Springfield, Missouri, and his Civil War re-inactment group conducted the ceremony.

This was the same weekend of a Civil War re-enactment by Captian Keith’s group at Fort Washita, Oklahoma, north of Durant. (More about this event on the next pages).Thamks to Captain Daniel Keith and his group for taking their time to go down to Lake Creek.
